How Can I Support the Michigan Eye-Bank?

It can be the foundation of new and effective means of educating the public about eye, organ and tissue donation. It empowers us to provide our services at little or no charge to those who cannot afford the healthcare costs associated with corneal transplantation.

Be an Eye Donor
Becoming a registered eye, organ and tissue donor is the most important way to ensure our mission can be fulfilled. If not for these special gifts from cornea donors, the sight restoring efforts of the Michigan Eye-Bank would not be possible. Become an Eye-Bank Ambassador
Our Ambassador Program brings together eye donor families, transplant recipients and others whose lives have been touched by eye, organ and tissue donation. Ambassadors support the Eye-Bank by volunteering at special events, distributing educational materials and reaching out within their own communities.
